Nebula and Hugo award-winning author, and space travel enthusiast Mary Robinette Kowal recently tweeted that the final draft of The Relentless Moon, Book 3 of her Lady Astronaut series was completed!

Kowal’s Lady Astronaut series explores the alternate history of space travel and mathematician/astronaut Elma York and her colleagues, with its origin story coming from Kowal’s novelette The Lady Astronaut of Mars. The series is an expansion of that novelette, and the first book The Calculating Stars is currently a Hugo Finalist for Best Novel. The Relentless Moon will publish with Tor Books in 2020 with a fourth novel, The Derivative Base, coming in 2022.
Awesome! But when in 2020? Five months from now, or 17? Elma would consider that far too big a margin of error.
